Grace

From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another. (John 1:16)

Our capacity for an exuberant life depends on the defining moments of our experiences of grace. When we are "full of His grace" we can see "one blessing after another" that distinguishes a fulfilling life. Jesus promises Himself in answer to our deepest needs, turning our scars into stars, that we might live life to the full. Meet Jesus afresh in these presentations and be freed to live in new exuberance!

Eagles Rendezvous is a Bible study ministry of Eagles Communications targeted at Christians:
  • Seeking to build a biblically sound foundation for
    spiritual experiences with the Lord.
  • Serious about studying the Bible and exploring
    its relevance for contemporary life.
  • Desiring to respond in obedience to God's Word
within the context of Christian community.
A specific biblical book is studied in cycles, each cycle lasting 6-7 weeks. Led by trained leaders of Eagles Communications, these studies are designed to be informal and interactive, with emphasis on the application of the biblical text to the pressing issues of life today.

Specially prepared study notes, will guide group members through the process of understanding and applying the Bible. The biblical text will be examined inductively with the following questions addressed to it sequentially: "What does it say?", "What does it mean?" and "How does it apply to us now?"

Read below to see just some of the previous studies.

ACTS
Empowered Witness

The story of the birth of the Christian Church is at once the story of the Holy Spirit's powerful acts in history and the story of brave men and women who gave their lives to share the message of the Lord Jesus Christ. The book of Acts records the exciting yet fumbling first steps of the newborn church.

I CORINTHIANS
Conflict & Community

The church at Corinth was a spiritually gifted body of believers but it was also a church with many conflicts -- factionism, spiritual pride, sexual immorality, confusion in worship, controversial lifestyle, etc. Sounds familiar? How did the apostle Paul deal with these issues, and what lessons can we learn today?

HOSEA
Prodigal Love

The minor prophet Hosea was anything but minor. His was a major message about the radical love of God for his defiantly unfaithful people. Hosea's magnificent portrait of God as Lover of the loveless was painted with the sallow pigments of personal pains and encounter with infidelity.

ESTHER
For Such A Time As This

This book has all the elements of an engaging drama: conspicuous wealth, raw power, conniving politicians and murderous plots. But more than just a record of human foibles and courage, it is a story of God's invisible hand at work in history, providentially preserving and protecting those who belong to Him.

EPHESIANS
Faith In The City

The Christians in Ephesus were converts from a Greek urban culture of mystery religions, magic, astrology, etc. They were living in fear of evil spirits and were unsure about Christ's relationship to these forces. Like any member of a permissive society, they needed encouragement to adopt a lifestyle worthy of Christ, a lifestyle free from drunkenness, sexual immorality, theft, and hatred. Our post-modern, "whatever", and "who cares?" society is really no different from theirs. This study explored Paul's teaching to the Ephesians on how we can be truly free in Christ to live authentically and faithfully in the city.
