My Response To Jesus Christ

To be a Christian is to enter a vibrant, dynamic and meaningful relationship with God our Creator through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that we are sinners and as a result, we are all alienated from God. In order to reconnect us back to God our Creator, He sent His Son Jesus Christ to earth to be born as a human and then to die on the Cross for our sins. We are unable to pay the penalty for our sins which is eternal separation from God. It takes one who is sinless to be able to pay that penalty. Jesus Christ did that and became the mediator, connector, and bridge between God and us. Our response is to recognize that we are sinners, to repent of our sins, and to receive His gift of forgiveness and eternal life.

You can begin this exciting and purposeful relationship with God by simply asking Jesus Christ into your heart and life. Say to prayer to God if it reflects the desire of our heart right now.

"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ, your Son, died on the cross for my sin and rose from the dead to be my Lord. I now repent of my sin and personally invite Jesus Christ into my life. Thank you, Jesus for forgiving me and offering me the gift of eternal life. I promise to live for You as You reveal Yourself to me through Your Word, the Bible. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."
