ELC Sabah 2010
Over six hundred blessed in KK
The Anglican Diocese of Sabah organized an Eagles Leadership Conference 2010 entitled Transforming Leaders, Changing Lives from August 5-7 in Kota Kinabalu. More than 600 priests, pastors, lay leaders from 60 churches in Sabah as well as business leaders attended this conference that provided plenaries, intensive workshops and seminars on various topics related to the theme. A team of 10 faculty from UK, Singapore, and Malaysia comprising Tan Koon Swan, Dr Low Guat Tin, Paul McGee, Senior Pastor Daniel Foo, Yvonne Foo, Sam Lam, Peter Chao, Dr John Ng, Billy Chan, and Michael Tan delivered the teaching to a most responsive audience.
"We have had many conferences on evangelism, spiritual warfare, etc., but this conference was beneficial and practical for both clergy and leaders in the marketplace," Bishop Albert Vun affirmed. Rev Yong Thiam Choy who is the Assistant Dean of All Saints' Cathedral in Kota Kinabalu said, "Many have been blessed by the sessions. We are encouraged by the speakers' insights and their willingness to serve us in this way."
"It is our desire that the conference will not just be an event but a life-transforming experience for God's leaders in Sabah," Dr John Ng commented.
