All cultures have a body of wisdom expressed in aphorisms that provides sense to life, guide for living, and directions for decisions. The Book of Proverbs is the mind of God revealed to us so we do not have to fumble through life. The author declares, "I'm writing out clear directions to Wisdom Way. I'm drawing a map to Righteous Road. I don't want you ending up in blind alleys, or wasting time making wrong turns. Hold tight to good advice; don't relax your grip. Guard it well - your life is at stake!"
If today's decisions are tomorrow's reality, then heeding God's wisdom now will determine what our reality will be like tomorrow. The seven sessions will help us to reflect on God's ways to ensure God's favor in our days ahead.
